One static PNG/JPEG/WebP, up to 30 MiB, 24 megapixels and 8192 px per side. SVG and animation are not accepted. Small images lose sharpness when enlarged. Processing stays in this tab; nothing is uploaded. Generate again after editing to refresh downloads.

Installation and cache checks
Extract the ZIP into your website’s public root and add the HTML below inside head. Serve PNG as image/png, ICO as image/vnd.microsoft.icon and the manifest as application/manifest+json. Check every URL returns 200. If an old icon remains, refresh the cache or use a versioned filename and update its HTML reference. Device interfaces may crop icons; inspect the actual result. The manifest supplies icons, not offline functionality or guaranteed app installation.
How this tool works
Encode a genuine multi-resolution ICO with 16×16,32×32 and 48×48 frames. Each frame contains a 32-bit DIB bitmap and transparency mask; it is not a renamed PNG. The small sizes serve classic browser and desktop icon uses. Apple and larger device icons use separate PNG files supplied in the complete package.
